Step 1. Call or fill out our contact form to communicate with one of our care coordinators. This helps us collect basic information about your loved one and his or her specific needs. It also gives  you our initial feedback and potential recommendations about how to move forward.

Step 2. After step 1,  we recommend a FREE assessment meeting between you, your loved one and our coordinator to discuss more details about your loved one’s situation. This meeting may also include introducing a potential caregiver to the client and family.

Step 3. After this meeting we can start services upon acceptance of our service offering.

We will carefully choose a caregiver based on your loved one’s care needs and personality. We can then introduce that caregiver during our free assessment or during a separate follow up meeting. You always have the final decision on the caregiver.

Yes. This is a good time to discover and go over the details about your loved one’s requirements. It also affords an opportunity to get to know each other and feel comfortable before implementing services.

All of our caregivers are directly hired and employed by our agency. They are not directly hired by the client.

We pay our caregivers directly and take care of all their related taxes and insurance.

Our caregivers go through a very detailed screening procedure. This includes interviews, validating caregiver information in their employment applications, validating training and experience, checking references and performing criminal background probes.

Our agency is both a private pay home care company and a Medicaid approved service provider. We accept any form of private payment, including checks and bank transfers. When applicable, proceeds from long term care insurance policies that cover our home care services are accepted.

Yes, we are an approved Medicaid service provider.  For those not covered by Medicaid, we accept private payments for services rendered.

No, ABC Home Care is a locally established and locally owned business.

For immediate health concerns or emergencies, please call 911. For urgent matters that are not health emergencies, a supervisor is on call Monday – Friday from 9 AM to 10 PM and Weekends from 10 AM to 10 PM.
